Preparing your child for Kindergarten
Your child will experience greater success in Kindergarten if he or she enters with the skills listed below. The single most critical element to your child's success throughout their school career will be if she/she is ready to learn. Students should be interested and motivated. They need to realize that they are going to school to learn. When school starts in the fall some students simply do NOT understand this concept. As parents you can help your child succeed by helping them to realize that they need to listen, pay attention and remember what they are practicing in school. School is their job.
